That's quite annoying the third hokage sacrificed his own life to make orochimaru unable to perform any handsign at all ever again, but it doesn't matter that much because sure it stopped further destruction of the hidden leaf villager, but orochimaru just gets a new body which has hands that Works just fine again

And to think Orochimaru could've just did this from the start and saved everyone some time.

He was dying and struggling with a sword in his chest. Orochimaru's arms was all he could get before he died.
